Summary - Why is the Rapture Pre-Tribulation?

Right now, we are experiencing the wrath of man, and through man, many tribulations.  When the tribulation starts, the wrath of God will get poured out on an unbelieving world. The body of Jesus can't receive the wrath of God twice. There is no double jeopardy with God.  Because the church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-14), Jesus will remove His body (The Church) from the earth prior to the tribulation.

Once the covenant with Israel is signed the tribulation starts.  The seals are opened and God’s wrath is poured out. Romans 5:9, Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. See also 1 Thessalonians 1:10 & Revelation 3:10.

Zephaniah 2:2-3, … before there comes upon you the day of the anger of the LORD. Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the LORD. See also Psalm 27:5 & Isaiah 26:20-21.

God has a history of pulling out the righteous prior to judgement. Enoch was raptured prior to the flood, Noah and his family were lifted up in the arch above the destruction and saved from the world-wide judgement of the flood. Lot and his family were pulled out of the city prior to God destroying Sodom & Gomorrah. He never said to them I will protect you in the city as I destroy it. No, he physically pulled them out prior to anything happening.

Revelation 3:10 is addressing the faithful church and says... Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. We cannot be dwelling on the earth if he is keeping us from the trial of those who dwell on the earth. God will once again pull the righteous off the earth before his judgement comes and I believe, that will be very soon.
