What is Eternal Life?

John 17:3, And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

This verse is not meant to convey “know of”. There are lots of people who know of God but they don’t truly know him. The word know (ginōskō) in John 17:3 is the same work used in Luke 1:34 when the angle of the Lord told Mary she will conceive a baby and Mary responded. Luke 1:34, Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” HCSB translation says, since I have not been intimate with a man. The Amplified Bible also uses the word intimacy. Eternal life comes from an intimate relationship with Jesus and not just a head knowledge. Do you really know God? You can get to know God and develop that intimate relationship with him by reading his Word and by talking (praying) to him.

Shower Fresh

Sometimes taking a shower may seem like a chore that you just don’t feel like doing. Once you are washed and clean, you feel refreshed and grateful you did it. The same goes for the Word of God. Sometimes reading the Bible may seem like a chore but once you do it, you feel refreshed and are grateful you did. Reading the Word of God cleanses you. It takes away the dirt and filth of the world that gets stuck to you.

Ephesians 5:26, … having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.

1 Corinthians 6:11, And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. See also Psalm 51:2.

John 15:3, You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

Acts 22:16, And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, calling on His name.

Ezekiel 36:25, I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.

Titus 3:5, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

John 3:5, Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

When you get baptized, make sure you do a full immersion under the water and not just sprinkled as some people do with babies. Doing so is symbolic of going down and dying to self and then rising up to new life, fully cleansed from the sin and the dirt of this world. For your eternal spirit has united with God's and has been reborn into a new life. If you die before you get baptized, it's not a salvation issue. It's symbolic gestor that pleases God.

Take the time to read the Word, try one chapter a day. Most are not that long. Clean yourself every day with the Word of God. Jesus is described as the Word of God. To get to know Jesus you need to know the Word. If you know the Bible, you will not be pulled into false doctrines. There are many out there! People are dying every day who have not been cleansed of their sins because they believed the lies of man, instead of the truth of God's Word.

Jeremiah 17:5, Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. Don’t blindly trust in your priest, pastor, church, Mom, Dad, or anyone else for your salvation. They could be wrong, and you would pay a high price if they are. Get it straight from the Word of God.

John 17:17, Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

The Armor of God, is the Word of God

There's a battle going on and weather you like it or not, your in it. The devil and his demons are coming for you and your loved ones. Ephesians 6:12, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4, For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

All of God's armor is rooted in the Word of God, AKA the Gospel or the Bible. If you know God’s Word, and have placed your trust in Jesus, then you are ready for battle.

Ephesians 6:10-20 describes the Armor of God.

The Belt of Truth. - Thy Word is truth (John 17:17).
Breastplate of Righteousness. - The Lord (Jesus) is our righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6) & Jesus is the Word (John 1:1).
Shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15).

Shield of faith. - Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17)

Helmet of salvation. - The gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

As you read the Bible the more you will start to understand it. It's time to Armor Up and Fight!

Your Job is Not to Feel Loved, But to Love

Our calling in this world is to seek God first (whom is the essence of love) and to love others. The next time thoughts of nobody loves me comes into your head, end that pity party by realizing in this life Your job is not to feel loved, but to love. Nobody can fill the God size hole in your heart but God. You can attempt to fill that hole with man's flawed and conditional love, but it's a tiresome effort that only leads to heartbreak. Seek God, and he will fill you with his love and that will overflow into love for others.

I love God and I love you and because of that I will preach the truth. I will not sugar coat it. I don't care what people think about me. I don't need you to love me in return. I don't need your approval or acceptance because I have God's. What I need is for you to listen! Jesus is coming soon, and most of you are not ready.

Here are some of the lies that have infiltrated Christianity.

LDS - Mormons - This church has many false beliefs. I am not as familiar with their teachings as I am the churches below. Here are the ones I know about.

They believe in reincarnation. This is not Biblical (Hebrews 9:27). You cannot through good works and many lifetimes, earn your way to become a God of your own planet. There is only one God and it's not you! This is idolatry because they believe in many Gods. This is also a works based salvation which I will address both issues below.
They have replaced the Bible with other non-Biblical texts that have been prioritized over the Word of God.

Jehovah Witnesses - This religion has multiple false teachings but these two are the most dangerous when it comes to salvation.

Jehovah Witnesses believe in a different Jesus than the one the Bible teaches (2 Corinthians 11:4). They believe Jesus is a created being. He is not to be worshiped because they don't believe he is God in the flesh. See my Is Jesus God article.
I believe they also have a works based salvation. They need to earn their way into God's Kingdom through good works. See my article called The Dangers of Working for Your Salvation.
Jehovah Witnesses also have extra Biblical writings from the Watchtower that they lean on heavily for their doctrine. Their New World Translation Bible has been altered to fit their beliefs. Deuteronomy 4:2 forbids this. Many Greek and Hebrew scholors have condemed this translation.

Catholics - There are multiple false teachings in this church. Here are the most worrisome.

Mary is not to be prayed to because she is not God. Do not kneel in front of her statue. Mary and the saints are sinful humans. They are NOT omni-present and cannot hear your prayers. You are summoning demons when you pray to them. These practices are idolatry and God considers them adultery. You are betrothed to Jesus and adultery is not allowed. Mary is also not a sinless co-Redeemer!!!!!!!!
Purgatory is a works based salvation. It's a false belief that you can take the punishment or purify yourself of your own sins! If you are not trusting that Jesus took your punishment, you will end up in hell. Please read my article The Dangers of Working For Your Salvation.
The Catholic church has added additional books to the Bible that even the Jewish scholars have deemed as non-Biblical. Jesus quoted 24 different books in the Old Testament. Not one time did he quote from the aprocrapha. The aprocrapha needed to be included in their Bible to condone some of their non-Biblical beliefs.

Current Day Christians - The church of Laodicea is spoken about in Revelation 3:14-22. God tells this lukewarm church he will spit it out of his mouth. This church has thrown the Word of God out. Jesus who is the Word is knocking on the door trying to get in. There will be many professing Christians left after the rapture because they followed false teachings or loved the world more than God. For more on the different rebukes and praises given by Jesus to different churches, you can read my article on the 7 Churches of Revelation. Here are a few of the current problems I see within the churches today.

Having a knowledge that Jesus existed and died for your sins does not save you (James 2:19). Salvation is not a head knowledge of Jesus but a relationship with him.
You do not get into heaven because you are a good person. Your goodness is like filthy rags compared to God's Holiness (Isaiah 64:6). If you sin one time in your life, in thought, word or deed, you are headed to hell (James 2:10). That would be every person who ever lived! Just because you are not as bad as others, does not keep you out of hell. God does not judge on a curve.
Not all republicans are good people, but I guarantee there are no true Christians in the democrat party! Either they don't know God or they are ignorant to anything political. God does not change just because your sins are now legal. Liberalism has entered some of the Protestant churches. Don't let people tell you not to talk religion and politics. The two are intertwined and affect every aspect of our lives. People don't want to hear the truth because they love their sins. Give people Jesus and after their hearts have been changed by God then they will be more open to hear political arguments.
If you belong to a church that believes the church has replaced Israel, get up and leave! Do not attend a church that is pro BDS. I have seen people say they love God, but they have hatred in their heart for the Jewish people. Something is wrong with that (John 13:35). God Loves Israel and if your heart or pastor's heart is aligned with God, so will you.

Jesus kept the whole law and never sinned. He did every work there was to obtain salvation. What you need to do is seek a relationship with God and his Son (prayer and reading his Word), turn away from sin and false doctrines, and have faith (trust) in the finished work of Jesus. Trusting in your goodness or in the doctrines taught by man puts you on that broad road to hell (Matthew 7:13). Salvation is a free gift (Romans 6:23). You don't earn a gift, you just receive it. When you are truly saved, your love for God will motivate you to do good works but you are never saved because of your good works. If your read the Bible you will not fall for all the false doctrines out there.

The devil has sprinkled poison in the dough (Gospel) and passed it along as the bread of life (2 Peter 2:1, Jude 1:4, Matthew 7:15). Know the bread you are consuming! (Matthew 16:12, John 6:22-59) Seek the Truth (John 14:16). Read the Word (Joshua 1:8). Develop a relationship with God through prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

The world is growing darker with sin and not much time remains before the midnight call of our bridegroom (Matthew 25:6 & Mark 13:35) which is the rapture of the church (1 Corinthians 15:52). If you are a born again (John 3:3), Holy Spirit filled (John 7:39), Bible believing Christian (John 17:17), Speak boldly (Ephesians 6:20), preach the Word (Mark 16:15), fulfill your ministry (2 Timothy 4:5), before it's too late (Luke 10:2)!

2 Timothy 4:2-5, preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Are You Searching for Love?

1 Timothy 4:1-3, Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods...

Ever since the 60’s when sex, drugs and having children outside of marriage became popular, society has been declining. Children need a stable homelife and the love of both their parents. Those little ones have paid the price for their parent’s sins. The never learned to turn to God in their time of need or when they are hurting. Their grandparents may have been the only Godly influence they had growing up. Those forgotten and abused children have now grown up and had kids.

This younger generation has embraced lifestyles of sin, since that’s all they have ever known. Most of this generation do not even have Godly grandparents to influence them. Sin has reached its maturity. God can’t let this continue.

Matthew 24:12, Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.

The world is looking for love because many lacked it by the people who should have love them the most, their parents. They sleep with people to try and find some semblance of love. They will eat up little bits of affection and attention, even if it is hollow. The likes on their social media posts will make them feel accepted or desired. They will drink or use drugs to numb the pain. They never learned unselfish love. They bought into what the devil was selling. It's an all about me world.

One famous person said she putting her happiness first and prioritizing herself and this is why she is getting divorced. She is a mom of four children. She is walking in selfishness and is willing to uproot the lives of her children because she is not happy in her marriage. Malachi 2:16 says divorce “does violence to the one he should protect”. She does not feel loved because she is not seeking the one who is Love. 1 John 4:8, Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Our marriage on earth is symbolic of our relationship with the Lord Jesus. Our covenant with Jesus is a marriage covenant. See my article called The Jewish Wedding and Jesus our Bridegroom. If you are willing to throw away your marriage instead of working on it and tear your kids lives apart, then you need to re-evaluate your relationship with God.

The only one who can fill that gaping whole in your heart, is the one who loves you unconditionally. His name is Jesus, and he died to save your life. He can fill your heart with love and heal your wounds. He is coming back to take his true love home. You already have his heart. The question is does he have yours?

I think someone may have gotten into my blog and messed with it. I guess it's possible it was a very weird technical issue. Multiple pages on my blog disappeared. I figured out the URLs were changed on five of my pages. Thankfully I was able to get them back. I then noticed the links I placed on one page were all changed so when you clicked on them, it directed you somewhere else. False Religions

False religions have roots in the truth. Counterfeit money is based off the real thing. The goal is to make money look like a real bill so that no one will notice it holds no value. The devil takes the truth and twists it just a little. It's like a frog in pot of water. The frog does not notice the water slowly getting hot. As the pot heats up the frog does not jump out of the pot. He adjusts to the slowly heated water until he is dead. Satan will take the truth and twist it. Once people are used to it, he twists it again. Soon people are now following a completely different gospel and will end up spiritually dead.

Mormonism and Jehovah Witnesses are professing Christian religions that if you believe the essence of their doctrine, you are not saved! The Catholic church also has major flaws. I find that there are a wide range of Catholics. Some Catholic churches have the main doctrine of salvation preached with idolatry and false teachings mixed in, and others have lost the gospel entirely. I believe the Catholic church is Mystery Babylon. See my End Times page for more information on Mystery Babylon. I think being a Catholic puts a big hurdle between a person and salvation. There are Catholics who are able to get over the hurdle and see the true gospel, but there are many that are not able to. The only way to prevent falling for a false gospel is to actually read the gospel. When you know the Word of God and a false doctrine is presented to you, you will recognize it as a counterfeit. Their is value in the real thing.

John 14:6, Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It won't be long

Sometime soon Jesus will gather his people. The rapture of the church is the blessed hope Christians have been waiting for since Jesus assended up to heaven (Titus 2:13). There were many end time prophecies that went unfulfilled until May 14th 1948 (Isaiah 66:8). 1948 was a pivital year and prophecies started coming to pass. The world stage is being set and the tribulation is around the corner. The generation that will see the return of Jesus are those who were born in 1948. We are at the end of that generation. The fulfillment of Bible prophecy is increasing by the day. For a list of some these, see the End Times page. Jesus will gather his people before his wrath is poured out on a world that embraces evil. If you see the evil in the world and want nothing to do with it, Jesus is who you need. Jesus is the essence of Love. 1 John 4:8, Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. See 1 Corinthians 13 for a description on what love is.

Only those who belong to Jesus will be removed before the tribulation. It's not a head knowlege of Jesus that saves you but it's a trusting relationship with him. He can be trusted. He does not lie. The one who adores you, who created you, who made you special in his eyes, desires for you to talk to him. Spend time with God by reading his Word and praying. Jesus loved us so much that he went through the most excruciating pain of the cross to keep us out of hell and within his loving embrace. May you feel just a little bit of his enormous love for you as you draw closer to him.

The Apparitions of Mary

The Catholic church hold the apparitions of Mary in high regard. I strongly believe these Marion apparitions are demonic manifestations. They have been contrary to the Word of God and may be part of the end times deception.

The devil can appear as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14, And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Multiple religions were started when someone had a vision from an angel who disclosed to them "new revelations". I don't believe these visions were a figment of their imaginations. I believe they were real and powerful. Satan is real and want's to lead people astray into false doctrines.

I believe manifestations will increase in number as we get closer to the tribulation. Because many people believe miracles are from God, they don't question the source of those miracles. Miracles can be very convincing to get someone to follow a false teaching. People are convinced the apparitions of Mary are from God, because healing miracles are occur.

I believe the devil will make it look like there was a resurrection of the antichrist. This will cause many to believe this man is from God, when in fact he is from Satan. Revelation 13:12, And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

People are seeking healings from Mary and the saints, when you should only be seeking these things from God. People are praying to her instead of God. When you pray to Mary you are giving her God-like qualities and that is idolatry. She can not hear anyone's prayers because she is not Omni-present. The devil wants continue to cause people to seek after someone other than God, and he is using Mary.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.

As we can see miracles are not just performed by God. Here are other examples in the Bible where the devil taps into the supernatural.

Exodus 8:7, Pharaoh’s wise men preformed a lot of the same signs Moses and Aaron were able to do through God. They called up Frogs.
Exodus 7:21-22, the wise men turned water into blood.
Exodus 7:11-12, Aaron threw his staff down and it turned into a snake. Pharaoh’s men threw down their staffs and they turned into snakes. Aaron’s snake swallowed up the wise men’s snakes. Satan will imitate God and his miracles but Jesus is always more powerful.
Matthew 7:22, people who don’t know the Lord can prophecy, cast out demons and perform miracles.
Matthew 24:24, false Christs and prophets can perform great signs and wonders that even believers could possibly fall for.
Revelation 13:13-14, The False prophet will make fire come down from heaven. He will deceive those who dwell on the earth by signs.
Revelation 13:2-4, the devil has a throne, power and great authority, and he uses it.
Revelation 16:14, the Bible says demon spirits perform signs.

Mary from the apparitions is telling people to make an alter to her and says she is coming back. The real Mary always pointed to Jesus, never to herself. Don’t follow these!

I highly recommend the book Messages from Heaven by Jim Tetlow. He discusses the messages given by Mary in the apparitions, and how they do not align with the Bible.

UFO's, Aliens, Apparitions of Mary, a connection to the demonic?

UFO's and Aliens

We have been hearing a lot of news about UFO’s lately. I personally believe UFO’s and aliens are demonic manifestations. Demons can take on the appearance of many different beings. I believe it is highly possible that they can take on the form of aliens. The Bible speaks about a great delusion and deceptions that will occur in the last days. UFO’s and aliens may be one of the things Satan uses to deceive the nations. It may be what the devil uses to explain away the rapture. They could say many were abducted by aliens. The Bible does not say what the strong delusion is but here are my reasons on why I think fallen angels (demons) may take on the form of aliens in the last days.

Angels are able to transform themselves and appear like regular men (Heb 13:2, Gen 6 & 19).
Fallen angels (demons) can transform themselves into angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
Fallen angels can appear as frogs (Revelation 16:13).
It is not clear but some scholars believe the locusts coming out of the abyss in Rev 9 are demons.
The devil can take on the form of a serpent (Genesis 3 & Revelation 20:2 & 12:9).

I am not alone in the belief that an alien deception may play apart in the end times. There are a number of ministries that are thinking the same thing. No one knows for sure what the strong delusion the Bible speaks of may be, but many are very suspicious that UFO's and aliens may play a part of the delusion.

Luke 21:11,... and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

2 Thessalonians 2:11, The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. There for God sends them a strong delusion...

Nephilim

Jesus says it will be like the days of Noah in the end times (Matthew 24:37). What happened in the days of Noah? Fallen angels took on the form of a man and came down on the earth. They interacted with mankind and in their human form the demons had children with women on the earth. They produced a bread of giants on the earth called Nephilim. Goliath from the story David and Goliath was one of those Nephilim. Nathan Jones from the ministry Christ in Prophecy also believes UFO's and aliens could be apart of the end times deception. This is all speculation because the Bible is not specific on what the strong delusion is or what the great signs from heaven are. I think UFO's and aliens are a definite possibility for a strong delusion that could lead many away from God.
