When I talk to people, I find that a lot of them fear the End Time Prophecies. They read all this scary information and don’t understand it. When we know the heart of the Lord, and start reading His word, we will see the bigger picture, and it is nothing but God’s love for man.
2 Peter 3:9 God does not wish that any should perish, but that all should be brought to repentance.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 For yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. Many are sleeping and are not aware a thief is coming. The verse is saying God's children are awake. The thief is Jesus and he will come in the rapture to steal his Bride off the earth and it will catch many off guard. God's children will see the signs coming and will be watching. Luke 12:54-56, He also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming.’ And so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat,’ and it happens. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time? The reason Jesus rebuked the crowds for not knowing the present time was because Daniel in Chapter 9 told them when the Messiah would be on earth. Back in that time the Jewish people would memorize the Bible. They had no excuse for not knowing that it was the time the Messiah was to be there. See my article called Rabbi Yeshua - Messiah? for more information on the timing of the 1st coming of Jesus. The same thing is happening today. Many people don't realize he is coming soon. Jesus did not give us an exact time on when he would return in the rapture but he gave us many signs to look for to know his coming is near. Once the tribulation starts and that is when the Antichrist signs the peace deal with Israel (Daniel 9:27) we can know from scripture that it will be exactly 2,252 days from that point until Jesus comes back at the Battle of Armageddon. Revelation talks about the tribulation.in two parts. The first 3 1/2 years is called the tribulation and the second 3 1/2 years is called the great tribulation. Each containing 1,260 days, 42 months (Revelation 11:2-3), for a total of 7 years or a total of 2,520 days. The 7 years is a Jewish year. Instead of 365 days the Jewish year has 360 days. I believe that the prophecies for the 2nd coming are being fulfilled and we need to recognize the signs because it is written in scripture. God does not want us to be in darkness because he informed about his plans.
Jesus will come and gather his believers before the tribulation begins. The tribulation is God's second chance to those who have not fully given their lives to Jesus. Jesus died a horrific death to keep us out of hell. There will be a temporary taste of hell on earth during the tribulation and this will cause people to embrace Jesus or reject him. Right now, prior the rapture is the time to give your life to Jesus before it gets bad. Too many people are sitting on the fence with one foot on earth and one foot in heaven. They want God but they also want what the world provides. God is starting to shake that fence. Those who are lukewarm must make a decision. We can see with the current political atmosphere God is eliminating the gray areas. There is now a stark contrast between good and evil. I have written some articles on the different end time topics.
