There's a battle going on and weather you like it or not, your in it. The devil and his demons are coming for you and your loved ones. Ephesians 6:12, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4, For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.All of God's armor is rooted in the Word of God, AKA the Gospel or the Bible. If you know God’s Word, and have placed your trust in Jesus, then you are ready for battle.
Ephesians 6:10-20 describes the Armor of God.
- The
Belt of Truth. - Thy Word is truth (John
17:17).
- Breastplate
of Righteousness. - The Lord (Jesus) is our righteousness
(Jeremiah 23:6)
& Jesus is the Word (John 1:1).
- Shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15).
- Shield
of faith. - Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17)
- Helmet of salvation. - The gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).
- Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17).
As you read the Bible the more you will start to understand it. It's time to Armor Up and Fight!
