2 Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The pope talks a lot. I want you to consider what he says and how it compares to the actual Word in the Bible.
I would like you to see
things through the eyes of the Bible.
There is no way to tell if someone is saved just by looking at them. It is between God and the individual’s
heart. You will be able to get some idea
based on the words and actions of an individual. Luke 6:35. A good man out of the good treasure of his
heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil
treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth
speaketh. Does what they say
align with the word of God? You can see
what kind of fruit they are producing.
My concern is that many people are falling for false prophets that speak
words that sound good, but do not align with the Bible. They blindly follow those they feel have
their best interest at heart. They place
their trust in man for their salvation and not the Lord. They listen to man and believe what he says
because they don’t know the truth of the word.
Federal agents don’t learn how to recognize counterfeit bills by
studying the fake ones. They learn and
study the real bills until they know it thoroughly. Then they can easily spot a counterfeit. Chris tians need to do the same. We need to know the word of God so that when
a false pastor, priest, or prophet arises we will be able to recognize him
right away. In the last days many
false prophets will arise and lead people astray. The Bible warns of this in Matthew 24:24. For
false Christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and
wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. We
can see that today with so many churches that have butchered the word of
God. We have Jehovah Witnesses who
believe Jesus is an Arch Angel and not a Divine being. We have Mormons who believe they can become a
God of their own planet. This was the
first temptation. The devil told Eve if
she ate of the fruit she would be like God.
Genesis 3:4-5.
But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For
God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be
like God.” The devil is still
using this and people are still falling for it. Many others twist the word of God just enough
to cause a man to follow a lie and reject the truth. During the tribulation, a man (the false
prophet) will arise who will form a World

Please place your trust in God and in his Word,
not a man. Jeremiah 17:5. Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who
trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.”
Keep this verse in mind when reading the
quotes from the Pope. Matthew 15:18. But what comes
out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.

Ending Statement
It is not that I am trying to nit-pick everything the Pope says and trying to find something wrong. Many things he says is wrong. His words are not an accident because he repeats them. His words are the thoughts of his heart. I understand he is human and makes mistakes, but you can see the thoughts of his heart by his words.
Matthew 15:18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
2 Peter 2:1. But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
Ephesians 6:12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The rulers of darkness have encamped around this man and he is listening to them. Let’s look at his beliefs that we covered and see if these are of God.
- Call the cross and God a failure
- Calls God weak
- Does not want you to evangelize
- Does not want you to think you can have a relationship with God
- Does not love Jesus
- Does not want you to go to God for forgiveness
- Wants you to embrace religions of idolatry
- Wants to please the world and embrace it
- Believe that salvation is all inclusive
- Living in sin, should be considered
- God is not Divine
- Works will get you into heaven
- Scared of those Bible believing fundamentalists

Let us pray for discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. It is vital to our salvation that we believe the truth and not the lie. Pray and read the Bible!
